Summer Newsletter: Message from the President
By Maureen Lein.
Hello my Farmington families! I hope everyone is staying cool and has enjoyed the summer. My family and I have certainly tried to fit a lot in this summer and I think we have been successful at trying new and exciting things. Just a few things I wanted to touch on in regards to Farmington news, there have been a few new families who have recently moved into the neighborhood so try and take a walk to introduce yourselves and help make our new neighbors comfortable.
Julie McNab has decided to retire from secretary; she has been doing it for quite some time and now must focus on family. We appreciate all your hard work and you will be missed. As her replacement, Gina Koscal will step in and we know she will be a great asset to our team.
Please remember our Block Party which is September 6th. We will be blocking off Remington Drive from Cassin to Piedmont Circle (in front of the park) where there will be a DJ, tikes area, contests and games for the kids and of course BBQ food on the grills. We really do not want you to miss this so please sign up. Enjoy the rest of the summer and I look forward to seeing you around the neighborhood.
